General Conditions of Rental

1. Minimum Age

   • The Renter (and any additional drivers) must be at least 18 years old. However, some vehicle categories may require a higher minimum age (e.g., 21 or 25 years).

2. Valid Driver’s License

   • A valid driver’s license held for a minimum of 1 year (or as specified) is required.
   • International renters may need to present an International Driving Permit (IDP) in addition to their home license.

3. Identification

   • A valid passport or national identity card must be presented at the time of rental.

4. Payment and Deposit

   • A valid credit card or debit card (if accepted) is required for the security deposit and rental charges.
   • The deposit amount depends on the vehicle category and will be refunded upon the vehicle’s return in good condition.

5. Insurance

   • Basic insurance (with a deductible) is typically included in the rental rate, unless otherwise stated.
   • Optional coverage (e.g., Collision Damage Waiver, Theft Protection) may be available for purchase to reduce the deductible and/or liability.

6. Vehicle Condition

   • The Renter is responsible for inspecting the vehicle upon pickup and reporting any pre-existing damage.
   • The Renter must return the vehicle in the same condition, barring normal wear and tear.

7. Fuel Policy

   • Mohi Cars generally operates on a full-to-full fuel policy: the vehicle is provided with a full tank and should be returned with a full tank.
   • If the vehicle is not returned full, refueling charges may apply.

8. Use Restrictions

   • Vehicles are to be driven on paved roads unless otherwise authorized.
   • Prohibited uses include racing, off-road driving (without authorization), towing, or any illegal activity.
   • Only drivers listed in the rental agreement are permitted to operate the vehicle.

9. Accidents and Damages

   • In the event of an accident, the Renter must immediately inform Mohi Cars and obtain a police report.
   • The Renter is liable for any damage not covered by insurance or resulting from prohibited use.

10. Traffic Fines and Violations

• The Renter is responsible for any traffic, parking, or other fines incurred during the rental period, as well as any administrative fees associated with processing them.

11. Extensions and Early Returns

• Rental extensions must be requested before the end of the rental period and are subject to vehicle availability and additional charges.
• Early returns may not result in a refund for unused days.

12. Cancellation Policy

• Cancellation terms (including any fees) will depend on the conditions agreed upon during booking or in the rental agreement.

13. Termination of Rental

• Mohi Cars reserves the right to terminate the rental agreement if the Renter violates these General Conditions or the specific rental agreement terms.

14. Liability

• Mohi Cars is not liable for any loss or damage to personal belongings left in the vehicle.
• Any indirect or consequential damages (e.g., lost profits, travel disruptions) are generally not covered.

15. Governing Law

• These General Conditions are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco.
• Any disputes arising from the rental are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Moroccan courts.
